WEDDING CEREMONY

THE PLATINUM PACKAGE - from $1000 *

Available anytime Monday to Sunday

This package is for the ceremony of your dreams. I will provide a PA with wireless microphone and you can have an unlimited amount of guests. 

We will start the planning with our first meeting – coffee or beer/wine on me !

We will complete the first important piece of paper – the Notice of Intended Marriage. This needs to be completed at least one full calendar month before the ceremony and is valid for 18 months. 

I will need to sight some identification. I will need either your birth certificate and photo ID, or your passport. If either of you have been married before, I will need to sight documentation stating that the marriage has ended. 

At our meeting we will talk about how you would like your ceremony to look and who and what might be included. I will ask you lots of questions about how you met, what you love about each other, what the proposal looked like. All the good stuff 😊

About 3 months before the wedding day we will catch up again and we will get down to the nitty gritty of the ceremony. A step by step plan incorporating everything you would like. It’s your day, so I want to make sure it looks exactly how you dreamed it would.

My ceremonies are written from scratch, personally designed for each couple. I will ask you to complete a “couple’s questionnaire” which I then use to write my introduction and to create a story during the ceremony. 

I can help you with writing your own vows or I can write something simple for you incorporating the legal wording that’s required.

I am happy to print out your vows onto some beautiful cards I have, or we can do the “repeat after me” technique.

We can have a rehearsal if you are feeling nervous or have a large bridal party to organise. 

(There is an additional cost of $80 for a rehearsal)

On the day you will need to have 2 witnesses over the age of 18. 

The day after your ceremony I will lodge all the necessary paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages. 

I am happy to order an official marriage certificate for you at the same time, saving you the trouble later down the track. BDM will simply email you an invoice and once it’s paid they will send your certificate out in the mail. A standard certificate is currently $54.40 and the average processing time frame is usually a couple of weeks.

GOLD PACKAGE - from $950 *

Available anytime Monday to Sunday

This package is for an elopement or simple ceremony with a maximum of 20 guests. No microphone needed, just an intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest.

This package includes a planning meeting where we complete the first important piece of paper – the Notice of Intended Marriage. LEGALS ONLY - from $600 *

Available all day Monday to Thurs, and morning only on Friday, Saturday or Sunday

Big elaborate weddings are not for everyone, and that’s ok.

Perhaps you would like the legal side of things completed in Australia before you head overseas for a big ceremony with all your loved ones. 

Perhaps you have been together for many many years and thought it was about time you made it legal, but without all the fuss.

Whatever your reason, a “Legals Only ceremony” is the quick and fuss free alternative.

As with all marriages, you will need to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage with me a minimum of one full calendar month before the ceremony. We will do this together during our first meeting. At the meeting I will need to sight some identification. I will need either your birth certificate and photo ID, or your passport. If either of you have been married before, I will need to sight documentation stating that the marriage has ended. 

You can have your ceremony at your home, in a park, or over a coffee. I will read a simple ceremony with just the legal bits, we sign a few pieces of paper, and you’re married !

You will still need to have 2 witnesses over the age of 18. Let me know if you need help with this, as I always have a friend or two willing to help out – after all, who doesn’t love a wedding !

* Prices are based on your wedding venue being on the Sunshine Coast from Noosa to Caloundra, or on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. 

If your wedding venue is up to 100km from this area an additional charge of $100 will apply. 

If your wedding venue is over 100km from this area, price to be discussed.
